Another Way LLC. is a Sober Living Environment, established in 2014, with three locations in the heart of Merced County. We offer a housing alternative for men and women who are recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction, Acute Behavioral Health, as well as other life struggles. All of our homes have house monitors that live on-site for the safety of the participants and property. We understand that it can be intimidating to try something new, to learn to live independently and make your own decisions. Please remember that you are not alone. We all experience similar feelings from time to time. Many people leave treatment and institutions without any source of continuing care. The individual ends back into a full circle of homelessness, using alcohol and/or drugs, crime, jails/prisons, rehabilitation centers/treatment centers or death. This is were Another Way LLC steps in. To provide a continued wrap-around resource of services for continued care and support.

WHAT IS A RECOVERY RESIDENCE?

A Recovery Residence is a safe and clean-living environment with a home-like setting. A place where men and women can continue to work on themselves, one day at a time. Giving the opportunity to step out into the workforce, start or finish education, while saving up for a place to call home. We strive to assist participants in developing a positive support network which aids in fostering behavioral changes that support a new lifestyle and achieve abstinence. Means of reaching our standards include facilitating active participation in community-based support systems and guiding participants to improve problem-solving skills and coping strategies.

Recovery Residence Services

  • Is an 8 bed, safe, clean and monitored property so that an individual can move on their next chapter in life without substance abuse. Learning to be self supporting and apply structure in their everyday living.

How do you get started?

  • Be clean and Sober

  • Have a serious commitment to recovery.

  • Willingness to honor Another Way LLC. Standards.

  • Have the financial ability to cover the participant residential fee.

This is a COMPENSATED live-in position.

Our ideal candidate is working on their recovery and can promote recovery through action and able to pass a background check. Have experience with SUD and Acute Behavioral Health clients or lived experience.

Have the ability to provide leadership in recovery commitment as we are a recovery residence.
